IT Competence Centre
IT Competence Centre, established in 2010, started active work in April 11, 2011, after signing a contract No.L-KC-11-0003 with Latvian Investment and Development Agency about the project „Competence centre of information and telecommunication technologies” co financed by European Regional Development Fund and aimed to promote long-term cooperation between ICT enterprises and science institutions.
The main research directions are – Natural language technologies and Business process analyses technologies. Both research directions are perspective and comply with the aim of competence centre – to create prototypes of internationally competitive IT products.
In general till middle of 2015 it is planned to invest in research projects 11.51 million lats, 6,184 as co financing of EU Structural funds.
